The Honest Test

Healed Tattoos — Months and Years After the Session

A fresh tattoo always looks good — the honest test comes later. These clips were filmed after healing: the jungle-scene cover-up sleeve more than 2 years on, the unicorn sleeve 1 year on. This is how color realism and hyper-realism actually live on the body.

Healed Work

A fresh tattoo always looks good — the real test comes later. These clips are filmed after healing, so you can see how the work truly lives on the body over months and years.

FAQ — healed work

Why show healed tattoos instead of fresh photos? +

A fresh tattoo always looks good — the honest test comes later. These clips were filmed after healing, some months and some years after the session. That is how you see how the work actually lives on the body: whether the values hold, whether the color stays true, how the piece reads in motion.

How long have these pieces been healed? +

It varies — the jungle-scene cover-up sleeve has been healed for over 2 years, the unicorn-and-beetles sleeve for 1 year. The clips are deliberately filmed only after full healing, never fresh off the session.

Does color realism stay saturated long-term? +

With properly built values and consistent care: yes. The keys are daily moisturizing and SPF 50+ before sun exposure — UV is the biggest enemy of any tattoo. The full aftercare protocol is on the aftercare page.

Where can I see more healed work? +

On Instagram @alex666cold I regularly post healed pieces and before/after comparisons. More examples with session counts and technique are in the portfolio on this website.
